프로젝트 설명

makediary is a program to generate PostScript or PDF for a paper diary. It can generate diaries in several different paper sizes, including small pages on larger paper. It can also generate several different types of front matter pages (addresses, year planners, etc.).

Output is written to diary.ps (or diary.pdf) instead of stdout. Titles are allowed on image pages. Printing Northern Hemisphere moons is allowed. Filling in the personal information page from a configuration file is optionally allowed. An image is now allowed to span two facing pages, with an optional title. All the day titles are shaded, and weekends and holidays are shaded darker. Appointments start at 9am instead of 7am. The appointments code was cleaned up. A units page was added.

The diary may be started on an arbitrary day with
--start-date. An arbitrary title is allowed on the
cover page. An option was added for large planner
pages. The program now depends on Python 2.4
instead of 2.3. strftime was fixed on Windows,
which does not have the %e expansion. PDF output
is supported via ps2pdf.

page be imported from an EPS file, so you can typeset
something in LaTeX and have it as a page in your diary. The
Vi and Vim reference pages are included as well as Unix and
shell tips pages.
